Financial Analyst (NPBHS CORE)

The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a full-time Financial Analyst to support the Outpatient Compassionate Response (CORE) Services team. The role involves financial operations, billing support, cash reconciliation, and routine reporting.

Requirements

• Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and basic PC applications
• EPIC/Care Connect or similar healthcare revenue cycle systems
• Insurance authorizations, billing, financial clearance, or related healthcare revenue functions
• Analytical, financial, or operational reports
• Psychiatric terminology
• Medi-Cal, HMO, PPO, and third-party payer authorization and eligibility requirements
• Basic arithmetic calculations, including additions, subtractions, ratios, rates, and percentages
• Patient encounters, registration, and appointment scheduling using a computerized system
• Cash handling, deposit reconciliation, and audit documentation
