Role Overview
The consultant will evaluate the quality of project implementation by partner organizations, appreciate the functionality of their workspaces and reception areas, and document the impact of interventions on women, girls, and beneficiary communities through the collection of qualitative data, visual supports, and testimonies.
What You Will Do
The consultant will visit the offices of partner organizations and supported shelters in the communes of Croix-des-Bouquets, Carrefour, and Arcahaie, conduct semi-structured interviews with partner organization leaders, and collect perceptions and testimonies of direct beneficiaries of interventions.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The consultant will work under the direct supervision of the Project Manager and will be supported by the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) team, which will serve as the point of contact for contractual and payment-related questions.
Requirements
- University degree in social sciences, project management, communication for development, gender studies, humanitarian action, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive professional experience in conducting evaluation missions, project monitoring, or humanitarian reporting in Haiti
- Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years in conducting evaluative studies or missions related to GBV in a humanitarian context
- Excellent knowledge of the local context, particularly the security dynamics of the Croix-des-Bouquets, Carrefour, and Arcahaie zones
