Role Overview

The Data Scientist I will work on utilizing single-cell and bulk transcriptomic and proteomic data to advance the development of therapies for optic neuropathies and retinal degenerations in a multidisciplinary group.

What You Will Do

Assist in the execution of research objectives, data collection, and data management, perform routine procedures, statistical analysis, scientific analysis, and reporting, and integrate data and data sets.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will be productive in independent work, as measured by publications and reports, and will be able to work at the computer and lift/move IT equipment when required.

Requirements

  • MSc in computational biology, biology, math, physics, computer science or related field
  • Four years of research experience
