Role Overview
The National Account Manager: Walmart is responsible for building and developing strategic customer relationships with Walmart Corp Buyers and leading the overall Omni Channel strategy at Walmart. This role requires proactive identification, planning, and communication with Walmart Corporate and Sales Operations in the retail environment to drive sales and expand in core Salty Snacks as well as additional categories.
What You Will Do
Build brand equity and profitably increase the sales volume on all assigned brands. Achieve assigned sales quota through the partnership and collaboration with the Walmart buying team. Develop and execute strategic roadmaps and action to achieve our overall eCommerce vision and goals.

Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in national account management, sales, or eCommerce roles within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- Proven track record of managing and growing large retail accounts, preferably with Walmart or other major national retailers.
- Experience leading Omni Channel strategy, including Brick and Mortar, Click and Collect, and Online channels.
- Strong background in trade promotion, retail sales forecasting, and use of syndicated data sources (e.g., IRI, Nielsen).
- Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills with senior-level retail partners.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive business plans.
- Advanced analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities; proficiency with trade management and planning tools (e.g., BluePlanner).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to tailor messaging to various audiences.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfortable learning new digital sales platforms.
- Ability to travel as required for customer meetings and company events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field required; MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
