IoT Solution Architect – Pre Sales Lead

Role Overview

As IoT Solution Architect, you will be in charge of consulting enterprise customers in the design of connectivity solutions for many different applications and industries. You will drive the solution from a pre-sales consultative stage through implementation and deployment. This is a customer-facing role and you will be required to travel to customer sites.

What You Will Do

Work closely with regional Country Manager and Sales Team in pre-sale activities and qualification of sales leads. Act as a “technical consultant” to Vodafone’s Enterprise customers. Advise, propose and design solutions in line with customer needs, requirements and expectations.

Able to produce clear and succinct RFI / RFP answers for winning bid responses. Support customers during deployments, testing, in-life during new feature deployments, and manage technical change requests. Meet the customer when and where needed – 40% travel within Greece and occasionally Europe.

Requirements

• Educated to BSc or MSc or an IT/EE (or equivalent)
• Excellent GReek and English, both oral and written
• Knowledge of mobile network architectures with an understanding of specific aspects for IoT applications
• Knowledge of data communication, network, software application and IT technologies.
• Customer relationship management skills with ability to interact comfortably up to Senior level
• A self-starter with a determination to succeed
• Pro-active driven, can-do attitude
• Strong communication and decision making skills – ability to balance conflicting interests
• Strong commercial management skills including contractual and commercial negotiation experience as technical lead
• Experience in complex change management in a technological context
• Team player, strong influence and relationship management skills
• Used to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible to adapt
