Role Overview
As an account manager, you will be the connecting link between the Ministry of Defence and (potential) buyers of Ministry of Defence products. You will operate in a complex and international environment where legislation and regulations, commercial considerations and caution come together.
What You Will Do
You will actively explore the market, maintain worldwide contacts and map out sales opportunities. You will advise on the most suitable form of disposal, such as sale, donation or transfer. You will guide the process from A to Z: from market exploration and contract preparation to coordination with internal specialists and follow-up after completion.

Requirements
- HBO work and thinking level
- experience in technical and/or logistical areas
- experience with (international) negotiations and conversations with governments, companies and organizations
- commercial experience; experience with international commercial processes is a plus
- experience with working at (middle) management level
- it is a plus if you have experience with or within the Royal Navy
