Our client is a top-tier UK law firm with a significant global footprint seeking a Business Development Manager for their Singapore office.
About the Role
This is a managerial role within the firm’s regional Marketing & Business Development function, based in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver business development and marketing activity across the Singapore office
- Partner with practice leadership to develop annual business plans, budgets and campaign plans
- Lead on client development, profile raising, pitching and event management
- Act as lead point of contact for the practices internally
- Produce bespoke bids, panel pitches and client development presentations
- Manage client development plans and directory submissions
- Oversee practice/sector MBD budgets and report on ROI
Key Requirements
- Strong background in business development/marketing, ideally within a legal or professional services partnership environment
- Prior experience in Disputes would be advantageous
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Confident, commercial and persuasive, with sound judgement and initiative
- Strong project management skills across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Demonstrable experience managing and writing bids
