About the Role

The best branded content earns its place on the page the same way editorial does, through strong ideas, sharp writing, and genuine relevance to the reader. Getting there takes more than good editing – it takes someone who can hold a project together from brief to publish.

We’re looking for an experienced Content Marketing Editor who can work across formats and platforms, liaise with a range of stakeholders, and make sure every piece of copy is on-brief, on-brand, and right for the platform it’s landing on.

Please note that this is a 6-month contract position.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Managing content projects from brief to publish – assigning work, editing copy and keeping everything on track to meet deadlines
• Working with the team to develop and refine story ideas, concepts and content themes
• Writing, editing and proofreading across formats; optimising copy and headlines for platform performance
• Ensuring all content meets brief, upholds editorial standards and is right for the title and platform
• Liaising with designers, sales and clients to keep projects moving

What we’re looking for

• At least 5 years in content – with experience across both editorial and sponsored/branded work
• A strong editing background and the confidence to work independently
• Excellent written English and a sharp eye for detail
• Solid working knowledge of SEO/AEO/GEO and social media best practices
• Someone who thrives under deadline pressure and can manage multiple projects without dropping the ball
• A team player who plays well with others
• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress or CUE is a bonus
