Position Overview
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is a key member of the management leadership team, responsible for growth of the Group across Singapore and Asia by building demand, strengthening brand equity, and deepening strategic payor and referral partnerships. This senior, hands‑on leadership role focuses on patient growth in Singapore and regional markets, understanding the insurance/payor landscape across the region, and delivering modern brand & communications that support clinical credibility and commercial scale. The CMO will lead both the market‑facing patient‑acquisition engine (local & regional execution) and a centralized brand & communications function.
Key Responsibilities
- Own local and regional marketing strategy to drive sustainable patient growth across specialty clinics and digital channels.
- Define go‑to‑market playbooks for priority markets in Asia and adapt centrally‑developed programs for local execution.
- Set and deliver measurable growth targets (patients, revenue, conversion rates) and lead allocation of marketing investment across channels.
- Develop deep understanding of Singapore and Asia payor/insurance ecosystems and identify opportunities to deepen empanelment, preferred‑provider status, network partnerships, and co‑marketing with insurers.
- Partner with Commercial/Network teams to influence payor negotiations, support submissions for panelling and design joint value propositions with insurers and corporate partners.
Brand & Communications
- Own Group brand architecture, positioning, and communications strategy to elevate clinical credibility and patient trust across markets.
- Lead brand campaigns, corporate PR, clinician thought leadership programs, content strategy (patient education), and crisis communications.
- Ensure brand consistency across digital, offline, clinical touchpoints and local market adaptations.
Digital, Performance & Patient Experience
- Build best‑in‑class digital patient acquisition and retention capabilities (SEO, SEM, content marketing, social, CRM, telehealth marketing).
- Optimize patient journey and conversion funnel in partnership with Operations and Clinical teams.
- Use analytics to test, scale and optimize acquisition channels and lifetime value.
Leadership & Operations
- Lead and develop two section heads (Marketing; Regional Brand & Comms) and a blended team of specialists and agencies.
- Set budgets, governance, vendor strategy, and reporting cadence; ensure timely, data‑driven decision making.
- Act as member of the Executive team — align marketing to strategy, compliance, and clinical standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Management or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years marketing leadership experience, with at least 5 years in senior regional roles across Asia; demonstrable track record in healthcare, hospitals, specialty clinics, or healthtech is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience driving patient growth, clinician engagement, and running multi‑market marketing programs.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore healthcare ecosystem and payer/insurance landscape across Asia (including experience working with insurers, empanelment processes, or health networks).
- Deep expertise in brand strategy, corporate communications, PR, and digital performance marketing.
- Experience managing P&L and marketing budgets; skilled at building partnerships with payors, corporates, and agencies.
- Excellent stakeholder management — comfortable working with clinicians, operations, commercial and regulatory teams.
