Overview


The Sustainability Operations & Enablement Manager is responsible for Blue Yonder’s core sustainability operations and internal education.


Scope


This role owns key operational processes such as the corporate GHG footprint and EcoVadis assessments, ensuring strong governance, data quality, and continuous improvement, while also serving as a bridge to go-to-market teams. In parallel, the role develops and delivers internal education and sustainability messaging that helps customer-facing teams confidently articulate Blue Yonder’s sustainability value to customers. By combining operational rigor with strong communication and enablement, this role ensures sustainability is both well‑managed internally and consistently embedded in how Blue Yonder shows up in the market.


Responsibilities


Sustainability Operations


GHG Inventory & Reporting



  • Lead the annual corporate GHG inventory process across Scope 1, 2, and material Scope 3 categories, in line with the GHG Protocol and internal governance models.

  • Coordinate cross‑functional data collection, quality control, documentation, and audit‑readiness. Oversee annual third‑party assurance with audit partner.

  • Maintain an improvement roadmap to increase data accuracy, coverage, and operational usefulness year‑over‑year.


EcoVadis & External Assessments



  • Own the EcoVadis submission process, including evidence collection, scoring gap analysis, and action planning.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to close priority gaps and strengthen sustainability ratings over time.

  • Maintain a centralized evidence and documentation library to support recurring assessments and customer requests.


Program Management & Governance



  • Manage the preparation of the Sustainability annual report, working with internal stakeholders to compile and update relevant data and information.

  • Establish and run a sustainability operating cadence, including KPI tracking, risk management, and leadership readouts.

  • Serve as a trusted internal point of contact for sustainability‑related data, policies, and reporting.


Enablement, Internal Marketing & Education


Internal Education & Enablement



  • Oversee development of internal sustainability education and enablement that teaches key sustainable supply‑chain themes (carbon emissions, waste reduction, traceability).

  • Translate complex sustainability topics into clear, practical guidance for internal audiences.

  • Work closely with the Sr. Manager for Product Marketing to develop materials that enhance the sales team’s understanding of sustainability value propositions in industry/vertical solutions.

  • Conduct research and analysis to inform our sustainability product strategy and customer needs.

  • Coordinate internal communications to announce new or updated sustainability materials.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • 5+ years proven experience in managing corporate sustainability operations, including process oversight and improvement.

  • Strong understanding of the GHG Protocol and experience in leading Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG inventory processes.

  • Ability to translate complex sustainability topics into clear, practical business guidance for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience in project management and coordinating cross‑functional teams.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

  • Ability to create and maintain centralized documentation systems to support assessments and customer engagements.

Salary Range


The annual salary range for this position is $105,261.54 – $132,738.45 USD. The salary range information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary by location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses, and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
