Customer Retention Specialist

Part-Time | Monday–Friday | 12:00 PM–5:00 PM

$15.50 per hour

We are looking for a positive, dependable, and customer-focused Customer Retention Specialist to join our team.

This position will primarily focus on supporting and retaining our existing customers through high-quality service, account assistance, policy changes, follow-up, and coverage conversations.

We are looking for someone who will do more than simply process requests. The right person will take the time to understand customer needs, identify potential gaps in coverage, and help connect customers with additional insurance or financial-services conversations when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assist existing customers with policy and account service needs
• Handle policy changes, billing questions, and general customer concerns
• Help resolve customer issues and support retention efforts
• Educate customers regarding coverage and available options
• Identify opportunities for additional protection, including liability, umbrella, property, personal articles, life, and health products
• Schedule appointments for additional insurance or financial-services conversations
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up
• Work closely with the Office Manager and Agent
• Contribute to a positive, professional, team-oriented office culture

Insurance experience is preferred but not required.

Licensing

No licensing required to start. There will be the opportunity to pursue licensing based on the needs of the agency.

Schedule

Monday through Friday

12:00 PM–5:00 PM

Approximately 25 hours per week.

Compensation

$15.50 per hour
