Market Defense is a leading independent Marketplace (Amazon, Tiktok, Walmart,..) services platform in the US. On the back of our continued success and team expansion, we are looking for an executive to join our Partnerships and Business Development team.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting: build and work your own pipeline of consumer brands, from outreach to signed MSA.
- Pitches and RFPs: run discovery, write proposals and RFP responses, and lead pitch meetings with support from Operations and Finance.
- Closing: negotiate scope, fees and terms within agreed pricing guidelines.
- Cross-sell: spot and close add-on services with existing clients: DSP, TikTok Shop, Walmart, Meta and Google, logistics and brand protection.
- Handover: brief delivery teams so every new client starts with clear goals and the right team.
- Market presence: represent Market Defense at industry events, Amazon and TikTok partner forums, and on LinkedIn.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree 5+ years in sales industry (SAAS, professional services, agencies)
- Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing Demonstrated sales success
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- CRM experience is preferred
The ideal candidate would also demonstrate some level of ecommerce and FMCG category knowledge.
