Financial Analyst

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is looking to hire a Business Analyst in Baltimore, MD.

Pay Rate Range: $20–$22/hour

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements, operational procedures, and existing workflows to identify problems and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to evaluate current processes, identify operational challenges, and improve efficiency.
• Gather and document user requirements and develop detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Review business processes, workflows, and scheduling limitations to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support client processing activities for institutional accounts involving global equity products.
• Coordinate with multiple sales and trading desks, including electronic trading, program trading, syndicates, converts, transitions, and special situations.
• Partner with operational teams to minimize business risk, protect client relationships, and support efficient transaction processing.
• Leverage technology platforms to improve workflows, support business needs, and enhance operational accuracy.
• Manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong aptitude for understanding, utilizing, and improving technology platforms.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Ability to gather requirements, document business needs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Previous experience in financial services, business analysis, client processing, or trade operations is beneficial.
• Work Arrangement: Fully onsite.
• Contract Duration: 6–12 months, with potential extension or conversion to a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
