Market Sales Manager | Phoenix, AZ

A nationally recognized leader in the home improvement and bathroom remodeling industry is looking to hire an experienced Market Sales Manager for the Greater Phoenix Valley market.

Our client is an established, industry-leading organization known for its strong sales culture, innovative remodeling solutions, and commitment to developing high-performing teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to build, coach, and motivate teams to consistently exceed expectations.

The Opportunity:

The Market Sales Manager owns the full national account sales funnel in the assigned market — from in-store lead generation at our Home Depot and Lowe’s partner locations through the in-home consultation and close. The Market Sales Manager leads both the Design Consultant team and the Brand Ambassador team, making one leader accountable for lead volume, lead quality, and conversion to sale. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can build accountability, consistency, and a winning culture across a field-based team, while keeping retail partner relationships strong. Join a national leader in bathroom remodeling, known for a strong sales culture, hands-on coaching, and real paths for growth from the field into management!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop field-based sales and lead generation teams
  • Drive revenue, close rates, average ticket, and lead conversion
  • Build and maintain relationships with major national home improvement retail partners
  • Optimize lead generation strategies and sales execution
  • Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, coaching, and results

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Design Consultant or comparable in-home or consultative direct sales role, including at least 1 year in a leadership, mentoring, or team-lead capacity.
  • Demonstrated track record driving close rate and average ticket.
  • Experience managing hourly field teams, retail partnerships, or lead-generation programs preferred.
  • Strong scheduling, organizational, and record-keeping skills, including approving payroll, hours, and commissions.
  • Strong communicator who can be direct and supportive at the same time; comfortable giving and receiving honest feedback.
  • Willingness to travel regularly between partner stores and customer appointments across the assigned market.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a background check.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
