Salesforce Functional Development Engineer (FDE) – Job Description

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
• Design and configure scalable solutions across Salesforce products including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud.
• Create user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
• Configure Salesforce features such as Flows, approval processes, security settings, reports, and dashboards.
• Partner with architects and developers to ensure business requirements are effectively implemented and aligned with Salesforce best practices.
• Lead requirement workshops, stakeholder discussions, solution demonstrations, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support data migration, system integrations, release management, and production deployment activities.

Critical Certifications Required

Mandatory

• Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
• Salesforce Certified Business Analyst
• Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 14+ years of experience working with Salesforce platforms Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect are strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce’s capabilities (both declarative and programmatic) and integration capabilities.
• Superior knowledge of APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce APIs, and SOQL.
• Strong leadership skills, with proven experience leading and managing a team.
• Hands-on experience working with Agentforce
• Hands-on experience working with Data Cloud
