Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive critical strategic and operational goals within the organization.
- Adopt, develop and implement innovative solutions, models, products, processes, and operational plans.
- Formulate operational strategies, policies, and manage comprehensive resources with a high degree of autonomy.
- Implement governance practices to oversee quality and compliance in operational areas.
- Drive thought leadership by participating in innovation activities and contributing articles or papers.
- Proactively establish systems to mitigate risks, improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Collaborate with other teams and leadership to deliver results.
- Oversee and coordinate the efforts of team members to meet organizational goals, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Develop execution strategy for projects linked to strategic goals of the function.
- Build a strong team by coaching and mentoring team members.
- Employ domain, management and leadership capabilities to oversee program teams for successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Standardize, automate, and streamline sales processes to improve sales velocity and pipeline efficiency.
- Data & Analytics: Build comprehensive sales performance dashboards, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and present revenue health reports to executive leadership.
- Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Collaborate with sales leaders to manage pipeline health and generate accurate, data-backed sales forecasts.
- Technology Ownership: Serve as the chief administrator and architect for CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and manage adjacent sales tech tools.
- Deal Desk & Compliance: Support the field sales team on complex deal structuring, pricing configuration, and non-standard contract terms while ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
- Cross-Functional Strategy: Partner with Marketing for seamless lead management and with Finance for compensation planning, budgeting, and commission tracking.
- Team Enablement: Train, onboard, and support the sales organization on new tools, policies, and best practices to drive platform adoption.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Analytics, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7+ years of experience in a sales operations, revenue operations, or commercial analytics role.
- CRM Mastery: Advanced, hands-on administration experience with leading CRMs like Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Technical Acumen: High proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI), advanced Excel modeling, and SQL/VBA logic.
- Industry Background: Prior experience in technology-related fields, SaaS, B2B enterprise sales, or management consulting is highly desired.
