Strategic Account Executive

Role Overview

The Strategic Account Executive position is responsible for generating new sales revenue and promoting WOW!’s complex data and voice solutions by identifying, initiating contact with, and qualifying new potential customers.

What You Will Do

Be strategic and work closely with the Account Manager to go wide and deep into the targeted account by selling a full suite of complex data and voice solutions ensuring close alignment with the complex needs of the customer.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of the cable, telecommunications, and data industries
• Working knowledge of financial measurements such as IRR, NPV, Fixed Cost, and Variable Cost
• Experience with identifying, prospecting, and penetrating defined base of accounts.
• Experience maintain and growing existing relationships with strategic base.
• Possess a thorough understanding of the business and economic models associated with strategic customers who require customized/complex solutions.
• Possess an intuitive understanding of the telecommunication business from a technical, economic, and regulatory standpoint.
• Experience writing and responding to RFP requests strongly preferred.
• Must be self-motivated, with excellent time management, organizational skills and complex problem solving.
• Must have excellent oral, written, and proven presentation skills.
