National Resources Growth Lead – Environmental Approvals

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and driven individual to drive and build environmental approvals capability across Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia. The role will involve shaping and delivering a national growth strategy for our resources approvals business, building trusted relationships with clients, and staying hands-on in delivery.

The successful candidate will shape and deliver a national growth strategy, build trusted relationships with clients, identify and lead strategic pursuits, stay hands-on in delivery, and connect people across regions and business lines.

Requirements

• Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Planning, Ecology or a related field
• 10+ years’ experience in environmental planning and approvals
• Sound knowledge of Commonwealth and State approvals frameworks
• Experience growing client relationships and turning opportunities into won work
• Collaborative style and ability to bring people with you
• Experience engaging with regulators, Traditional Owners, landholders and communities
• Existing relationships in the resources sector (a bonus, not essential)
