Role Overview

3M is seeking a Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across manufacturing operations located in Brockville, ON. The role involves gathering, cleaning, and analyzing manufacturing and operational data to identify trends, process bottlenecks, and performance improvement opportunities.

What You Will Do

As a Data Analyst, you will gather, clean, validate, and analyze manufacturing and operational data from multiple systems, develop recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations, and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or higher
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science or Business Analytics
• Two (2) years of experience in data analysis in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain environments
• Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Grafana
• Experience analyzing operational or production data and building dashboards and performance reports
• Knowledge of manufacturing KPIs and production performance metrics
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
• Experience in a manufacturing, plant, industrial, or continuous improvement environment
• Familiarity with ERP, MES, historian, or other manufacturing data systems
• Knowledge of statistical analysis methods and process improvement tools
• Experience with Python, R, or other analytics/programming tools
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence methodologies
