Trade & Finance Operations Analyst

Role Overview

The Trade & Finance Operations Analyst will support the end-to-end processing and administration of Letter of Credit (LC) transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with banking requirements and internal procedures.

Key responsibilities include receiving and processing LC documents, updating the LC tracker, maintaining accurate transaction records, and reviewing LC submission documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, Economics
• Professional certification in Documentary Credits, or International Banking
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in Letter of Credit handling, trade finance, documentary credits, and international banking operations
• Hands-on experience with LC issuance, advising, amendments, confirmation, document presentation, examination, negotiation, discrepancy management, and settlement
• Strong attention to detail and document-review skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation abilities
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple LCs, deadlines, amendments, discrepancies, and high-volume transactions while maintaining accuracy and compliance
• Strong understanding of risk controls, compliance requirements, and internal financial procedures
• Preferably having receivable collection experience and SAP user knowledge
