Senior Data Analyst

Role Overview

As a Senior Data Analyst at Afya, you will transform data into analyses and information that support decision-making, expanding the availability, reliability, and scalability of data for corporate and regional teams.

What You Will Do

You will access, analyze, and integrate data through Power BI and Databricks, transforming information into relevant analyses for the business; produce analytical syntheses and indicators that support decision-making for corporate and regional teams; and develop and evolve predictive analyses, supporting the identification of risks, trends, and possible scenarios related to the business.

Requirements

• Experience with data analysis, Business Intelligence, and construction of analytical solutions
• Knowledge of Power BI for development, analysis, and evolution of dashboards and indicators
• Knowledge of Databricks for data access, exploration, and analysis
• Knowledge of Excel for analysis, organization, and data treatment
• Knowledge in predictive analyses, scenario construction, and analytical model application
• Ability to work with data quality, identifying inconsistencies and evaluating information reliability
• Analytical capacity to transform data into hypotheses, insights, and recommendations for decision-making
• Digital fluency and ease of navigating between different tools, bases, and data solutions
• Business vision and ability to translate area needs into data analyses and products
• Clear communication to synthesize complex analyses and present them in a practical and actionable way for different audiences
