Role Overview
The Assistant Vice President, Finance Operations serves as a key member of the Finance leadership team and a strategic partner to the EVP & Chief Financial Officer. This role is responsible for leading core finance operations across the health system, ensuring strong financial stewardship, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making in support of AtlantiCare’s strategic priorities.
What You Will Do
Provide leadership and oversight of core financial operations, direct and continuously improve the financial close process, ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls, and promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and trust across all financial reporting.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience in a complex healthcare system or similarly regulated industry
- Demonstrated experience in both financial operations and advanced financial analysis / decision support
- Experience with ERP systems required; experience with Oracle Fusion or similar platforms strongly preferred
