Role Overview

The Account Manager executes sales strategies for Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company, maintaining customer relationships, developing new business, and growing existing sales. This role requires frequent travel to customer sites, with up to 75% of the time spent on the road. The Account Manager will work independently with minimal supervision, but will also collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales strategies and resolve customer or delivery issues.

What You Will Do

The Account Manager will oversee sales and promotional efforts for stores within assigned territory and accounts, execute effective short-term and long-term sales strategies, and positively influence and negotiate with retail stores. They will also develop and conduct effective sales and promotional presentations, and provide applicable sales and sales activity reports.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma with 1-3 years of sales or store merchandising experience
  • Customer-focused with the ability to positively and effectively interact with customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to set priorities, and meet timetables leading to the attainment of goals
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Outstanding presentation, selling and negotiating skills
  • Strong problem resolution and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent team-player with the ability to effectively interact with multiple departments
  • Ability to make frequent visits to multiple customer sites each day
  • Reliable vehicle transportation with a good driving record, and valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Good computer skills (MS Office)
