Data Platform Managed Services & Operations-Vice President

The VP – Data Platform Managed Services & Operations provides hands-on operational leadership for enterprise data platforms, including ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration frameworks, streaming platforms, and Snowflake workloads operating on cloud platforms. The role combines strong troubleshooting expertise with a transformation mindset, driving SLA adherence, platform stability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, streaming, and Snowflake.
• Hand-on experience supporting ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).
• Practical knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and observability concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to investigate alerts, data delays, pipeline failures, and quality issues.
• Ability to lead, coach, and support Analysts and Associates during shifts and handovers.
• Ability to assign work, manage priorities, and ensure coverage across operational hours.
• Ability to identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through scripting, automation, and process improvements.
