Role Overview
Brightfield is seeking a Data Ops Analyst who combines strong analytical thinking with excellent communication skills. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business problems, working directly with customers, and transforming complex data into actionable insights.
What You Will Do
Analyze workforce and business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities; investigate customer questions and business challenges using a structured analytical approach; translate business needs into data-driven solutions and recommendations.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics) or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, consulting, customer-facing analytics, or a related role
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, logical formulas, data validation, Python, Docker, Git, and large dataset manipulation
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain analytical findings to non-technical audiences
- Confidence participating in customer meetings and presentations
- Demonstrated ability to listen actively, ask clarifying questions, and accurately translate customer requirements into analytical solutions
