Business Development Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and commercially focused Business Development Manager to join our Cybersecurity team. You will be responsible for growing a strategic vendor portfolio by developing strong partner relationships, driving market expansion, and creating sustainable sales opportunities across Auckland and the Upper North Island.

What You Will Do

Build and strengthen relationships with existing, emerging, and strategic channel partners to drive engagement and long-term growth. Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities while supporting partners to grow healthy sales pipelines.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal Business Development Manager has 2–5 years’ experience in business development, sales, channel management, account management, or a similar commercial role. Experience within ICT, technology, cloud, software, cybersecurity, or distribution environments is highly regarded.

Requirements

• 2–5 years’ experience in business development, sales, channel management, account management, or a similar commercial role
• Experience within ICT, technology, cloud, software, cybersecurity, or distribution environments is highly regarded
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders
• Proven experience working towards sales, revenue, or activity-based targets and achieving business growth outcomes
• Strong communication, presentation, organisation, and time-management skills
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred; relevant vendor certifications are advantageous
