Data Analyst Power BI (Research-Economics)

We are looking for a Data Analyst Power BI (Research-Economics) – Hybrid! The role supports small businesses in your community and across the country, and you will have a hand in shaping the economy and future of the country.

Requirements

• Proficiency in dimensional modeling including star and snowflake schema design
• Knowledge of Power BI (PL300 certification is an asset)
• Knowledge of SQL, DAX and Power Query
• Expertise in Microsoft office 365 suite for word processing, spreadsheets, and graphs
• Experience or knowledge of statistical analysis is an asset (R, Python, SPSS, etc.)
• Previous experience with survey data is an asset
• Commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
• Ability to work well with minimum supervision with the capability to self-learn
• Good interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English language is a requirement (written, oral, and reading); French is an asset
• Desire to learn more about the small business sector and its role in the Canadian economy
