Business Operations Finance Officer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Operations Finance Officer to join our Commercial Partnerships department on a 12-month fixed term basis. The role will involve managing financial business processes, working closely with finance business partners and management accountants, and supporting senior business leaders with financial reporting and analysis.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include raising purchase orders, managing receivables, raising sales orders, coordinating revenue shares, and supporting senior business leaders with financial reporting and analysis.

Requirements

• Experience of good financial processes in a commercial environment
• Knowledge of Unit 4 Business World (desirable)
• Knowledge of the technology transfer database Minuet for financial processes (desirable)
• Strong Excel skills, with experience of large, complex data sets and multiple systems
• Highly numerate with an analytical approach to problem solving
• Able to present and explain financial information clearly and pick out key issues
• Confident discussing complex financial data with a range of stakeholders
• Experience of managing revenue shares or income allocation is helpful
