Marketing Manager

Role Overview

Cawood is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead marketing activity across their Agriculture, Animal Health and Environment businesses. The role involves developing marketing strategy and collaborating with commercial leaders, laboratory teams, and technical specialists.

What You Will Do

The Marketing Manager will work directly with the Director of Product, collaborate with commercial leaders, and manage specialist external agencies. They will also be part of the wider One EBI community, collaborating with marketing and creative colleagues across the group.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ relevant B2B marketing experience, with evidence of increasing responsibility and impact. They will also have strong written communication and content-development skills, as well as the ability to understand complex or technical subjects and translate them into clear customer propositions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years’ relevant B2B marketing experience
• Experience developing marketing plans and then personally helping to deliver them
• Evidence of marketing activity that has contributed to measurable commercial outcomes
• Strong written communication and content-development skills
• The ability to understand complex or technical subjects and translate them into clear customer propositions
• Good working knowledge across the marketing mix, including content, digital, email, social, events, campaigns, lead generation and marketing analytics
• Experience managing agencies, suppliers and marketing budgets
• Experience working closely with sales, product, commercial or business-development teams
• Strong project-management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and subject-matter experts
• A data-driven approach to understanding performance and making decisions
• The independence and initiative required to operate successfully within a lean structure
