Financial Analyst

Role Overview

The Financial Analyst will report directly to the Sr Manager, Accounting, and will be responsible for many cross functional accounting areas at PacStar, a manufacturing company. This position requires a high level of accounting knowledge specific to inventory costing, controls and analysis, sales order entry and processing, and overall general accounting functions.

What You Will Do

This is a hands-on role within the accounting team that will be expected to have a working knowledge of sales order processing including quote to cash, full cycle accounting operations, G/L reconciliations, US GAAP, and compliance within the manufacturing industry.

Requirements

• 4 – 7 years of progressive experience in Accounting, ideally with manufacturing industry experience
• Manufacturing experience is highly preferred
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of sales order processing (quote to cash)
• Requires ability to problem solve independently
• Ability to work in a dynamic cross-functional environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail and quality orientation a must
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and adhere to tight deadlines
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with Sage, Avalara, SAP, Concur and Crystal Reporting a plus
