We’re hiring a Web Growth Manager to help us grow dbt into a globally recognized and loved software brand. This role will be a critical part of the Web Team and will be responsible for driving performance with an iterative, experiment-driven, and evidence-based approach. This includes creating a roadmap of future experiments, building a scalable SEO strategy, analyzing research and data, and more. In addition to the Web Team, the Growth Manager of Web will work closely with our marketing and marketing operations teams.
This is the first growth marketing role at dbt Labs, which means there’s a ton of opportunity to build something from scratch and start executing from day one. Plus, you’ll get to join a team of stellar frontend engineers, designers, and strategists that truly care about their work and their peers.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Own the website performance metrics that drive pipeline: conversions, meetings, and opportunities created.
- Drive our high-velocity experimentation program and roadmap for the web, including web page and form conversion programs.
- Drive our SEO programs to capture and convert interest, including resolving technical SEO, scaling content production, and orchestrating distribution and link building.
- Mine for insights across our reporting, experimentation, research, and customer conversations that can drive new growth experiments for web.
- Identify and program-manage content opportunities to increase traffic, session engagement, and conversion.
- Produce new and updated web pages, content, and copy to increase engagement and conversions.
- Own our A/B testing and web personalization tooling, including setting best practices for other marketers.
- Work with the rest of the web team to build new and extend existing website capabilities and assets to produce experiments and drive growth.
- Partner with the marketing operations team to build new and extend existing website reporting capabilities to drive insights.
- Partner with the campaigns and product marketing teams to build new and extend existing web page messaging, copy, and offers.
- Report up on website performance and experiment programs to marketing and regional GTM leadership.
You are a good fit if you have:
- A proven track record of driving incremental performance from website
- Been accountable to pipeline performance in a B2B SaaS organization
- Run an SEO program, with a track record of strong incremental improvement.
- Run an experiment program for web, with a track record of insights and iteration
- Experience writing impactful web copy
- Worked asynchronously as part of a fully-remote, distributed team
- A proven track record of working independently, and collaborating across teams
- An understanding of the technical side of working with web: how browsers work, basic HTML/CSS fluency, can use Git
- Experience using Mutiny, Wynter, Mouseflow, Looker, or Figma.
You’ll have an edge if you have:
- Worked with a website that markets data, technical, open source, or B2D products before
- Marketed to multiple segments (self-serve to enterprise) across multiple regions (supporting EMEA, APAC, Americas)
- Experience implementing live chat
- Scaled an SEO content program (e.g. managing the build out of significant content programs)
- Used a BI tool before for web reporting (we use Looker)
- A proven track record of working independently, and collaborating across teams
- Experience writing basic JavaScript, SQL,… or using dbt!
