Data Analyst – Business Intelligence

Role Overview

Join DRW’s Unified Platform Data Management team as a Data Analyst – Business Intelligence. This role will work at the intersection of finance, trading operations, and data engineering, answering business questions with data and building extracts against the firm’s data stores.

What You Will Do

Answer business questions with data, build and run extracts, drive improvements to market share reporting, and support quarterly and annual tax and regulatory inquiries.

This role requires 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics engineering, with advanced SQL and Python skills, and experience working with financial data.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a data analysis, business intelligence, financial reporting, or analytics engineering role
• Advanced SQL — complex multi-table joins, aggregation, CTEs, and query performance
• Python for data work — pandas, database connectivity, and repeatable scripts
• Experience working with financial data: trades, positions, pricing, or reference data
• Demonstrated care with accuracy
• Clear written communication
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field
• Experience specifying requirements for engineering teams, or building BI tooling
• Exposure to tax, VAT/GST, or regulatory reporting
