Business Development Representative

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Representative who gets energy from creating opportunities, making new contacts, and achieving results. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers and play a crucial role in generating qualified leads for the sales team. This is a proactive role where your success is determined by your drive, curiosity, and perseverance.

What You Will Do

Your tasks include actively approaching potential customers via outbound calls and digital channels, qualifying prospects and signaling commercial opportunities, scheduling appointments and demos for the sales team, building relationships with decision-makers and influencers, recording and following up on leads and activities in Salesforce, working with Marketing on campaigns and lead follow-up, and representing ECI at relevant events and trade fairs.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
• A proactive and persuasive attitude with a high degree of ownership
• Self-confidence in outbound calling and making appointments, experience is a plus
• Ability to work with targets and focus on results
• Interest in software, technology, and business processes
• Affinity with the manufacturing industry or construction is a plus
