Role Overview

As a Data Scientist in the Asia Publishing team, you will work with data engineers, scientists, and analysts to perform quantitative analysis of internal and external data sets and build statistical and ML models to improve player experiences. You will help identify opportunities in our markets, create a better understanding of player and market behaviors, and analyze data to build trend detection tools/dashboards.

What You Will Do

Expand, enhance, and maintain existing segmentation and forecasting models, perform thorough testing and validation of models, explore first and third-party datasets, and work with analysts to align data science outputs to business requirements.

Requirements

  • Tertiary Education in the field of Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years or more experience in a data science role with experience using programming languages like python or R
  • Understanding of statistical and ML fundamentals and statistical modelling techniques
  • Familiarity with SQL and working with databases
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Looker, Tableau
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
