Role Overview
Everience is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to develop and maintain scalable data solutions supporting data-driven decision-making and the energy transition for one of its clients in the Dutch energy sector.
What You Will Do
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms, develop ETL/ELT processes, transform complex datasets, build and maintain cloud-based data solutions, and ensure data quality, reliability, security, and performance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, experience within the Dutch energy sector, strong knowledge of Python and SQL, and experience with modern data platforms and cloud platforms.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
- Experience within the Dutch energy, utilities, renewable-energy or infrastructure sector
- Strong knowledge of Python and SQL
- Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines
- Experience with Azure or another major cloud platform
- Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse or Snowflake
- Understanding of data modelling, data quality and data governance
- Experience working in Agile and/or DevOps environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Dutch and English communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders
