Role Overview
Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst supports all elements of the accounting function, including IFRS analysis, journal entries, systems integration, month-end close, reconciliations, variance analysis, and accurate financial reporting. The role contributes to compliance and regulatory requirements as needed. This position will be based at our Head Office in Markham, Ontario, and offers a hybrid working environment.
What You Will Do
Manage general ledger accounts, prepare monthly/annual financial reports, integrate financial enterprise systems, own the month-end close process, prepare and present budget-to-actual and variance analysis, support preparation of budgets and forecasts, drive finance process improvements, and collaborate with business stakeholders.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 2-3 years of accounting/finance experience
- CPA designation preferred
- Public company experience preferred and knowledge of IFRS preferred
- Advance Excel skills
- Experience in identifying, investigating, analyzing, and reporting variances
