Analyst, GTM Analytics

Role Overview

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. The Analyst will work on well-scoped, clearly framed requests, writing SQL to pull data, looking up existing metrics, and shaping output in Excel or Google Sheets.

What You Will Do

Write and adapt SQL queries, look up existing metrics, pull and structure data, summarize findings, validate data accuracy, and escalate requests to senior team members.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, basic aggregate functions)
• Comfortable using AI tools like Claude to write, debug, or refine queries and analysis
• Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
• Basic understanding of SaaS sales concepts (opportunity stages, pipeline)
• Strong attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work
• Comfortable asking questions rather than guessing at ambiguous requests
• Comfortable navigating existing Looker or Omni dashboards to trace how a metric is defined and built
