Role Overview

As a data engineer, you will support and accelerate our data science and statistical modelling function by taking ownership of data pipelines to ensure data is up-to-date, reliable, and easily accessible. You will work on automating pipelines, building datasets, deploying models, and improving ETL processes.

What You Will Do

You will automate pipelines for importing and updating data, build smaller datasets, deploy models to the cloud, and improve the speed and reliability of our ETL process.

Requirements

  • Good level in Python
  • Ability to make pragmatic and sensible choices about approaches to use
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases
  • Familiarity with AWS or another similar cloud platform
  • Experience building data pipelines in the cloud
