Sector Growth Lead – Homeland Security

Role Overview

The Sector Growth Lead executive will lead the Homeland Security Sector growth team, driving growth strategy, business development, and new business initiatives. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a deep understanding of the Department of Homeland Security and its organizational structure, mission priorities, and procurement methodology.

What You Will Do

The successful candidate will leverage their knowledge to develop customer-focused campaigns, create and execute customer and partner engagement plans, and provide thought leadership in the marketplace, leading to the development and execution of GDIT go-to-market account plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 15+ years of Department of Homeland Security experience
• 7+ years of business development-related experience in the Department of Homeland Security’s markets
• Highly collaborative leader who can effectively build and lead teams
• Successful track record enabling teams to advance new business development strategies and information technology solutions
• Proven ability to build relationships and lead through influence at all levels of the organization
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Proven track record of identifying and closing on large and/or strategic new business opportunities in relevant markets
• Demonstrated and proven leadership skills
