Role Overview

The Statistician/Data Analyst supports the data collection and analysis efforts of a government program and contributes to the ongoing initiatives of a larger team.

What You Will Do

Develop reporting and analytics capabilities, support forecast modeling, develop automated reporting solutions and dashboards, build briefing products, conduct analysis and deliver analytical results, and coordinate/implement data collection efforts.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of related experience, a BS/BA degree in Statistics or a related field, and working knowledge of data visualization platforms and scripting languages.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Statistics or a related field
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Working knowledge of data visualization platforms (Tableau) and scripting languages (R/Python/SAS)
  • Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with relational databases
  • Exceptional analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills
