Head of YouTube Music Partnerships (English, Korean)

The Head of YouTube Music Partnerships will lead and manage a high-performing team of music partner managers across Korea and Greater China, shaping and executing commercial business strategies for the region.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or management within the music, digital content, or technology industries
  • Experience in a leadership role, managing teams and working with executives in the music industry
  • Experience with commercial agreements, digital music licensing agreements, agreements and support of multi-territorial licensing entities
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and Korean to engage with clients in the region
  • Preferred qualifications: MBA or JD
  • 5 years of experience of leading a team and also with people management
  • Experience in Korea and Greater China entertainment ecosystem, including music copyrights and financial models
  • Experience influencing and negotiating with cross-functional teams and internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to navigate vertically integrated markets and regulatory challenges (e.g., regulatory shifts)
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region
