Position Overview
The Marketing & Sales Operations Manager’s focus is to manage and promote the Hedy & Hopp brand to help H&H stand out as a market leader and generate demand and net new client relationships for the agency.
This position will focus 100% on H&H marketing and lead generation (no agency client work), and the focus areas may shift with agency growth objectives, positioning, and quarterly goals.
Key focus areas include: managing and enhancing the agency’s digital presence (including website and social media accounts), leading H&H’s thought leadership and content strategy, developing and executing lead generation strategies, and managing marketing and sales operations.
The Marketing & Sales Operations Manager will report directly to the company’s Director of Growth and work closely with the company’s CEO. Though collaboration is expected, this is a high-trust role, and day-to-day duties will be expected to be executed with minimal oversight.
Areas of Responsibility
- Execute a marketing and lead generation strategy to raise H&H’s visibility among key prospects to drive qualified sales meetings
- Manage H&H’s online presence, including identifying opportunities to raise the visibility of our brand and content and ensuring our brand’s consistency in aesthetics and tone
Content Strategy, Distribution, and Promotion
- Develop and execute against a content calendar, including H&H’s blog, website, social platforms, email marketing, and other available platforms
- Ensure content is published on a timely basis, according to the calendar and predefined strategy
- Utilize MailChimp and Hubspot to create and send weekly email series
Content Creation
- Develop content for any necessary agency marketing materials, including website copy, sales materials (collateral, presentations), social media posts, email content, etc.
- Leverage templates and designs (CMS, Canva) to execute designs for H&H content, including sales materials, social media posts, etc.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts within H&H, if needed, to identify relevant content topics.
Manage and Expand H&H’s Lead Generation Strategy
- Build, launch, and manage day-to-day lead generation campaigns across paid media, email, and organic channels
- Set up and maintain landing pages, forms, and conversion paths to capture and route inbound leads
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to launch campaigns on time and ensure asset readiness
- QA campaigns, links, tracking, and attribution to ensure accurate performance measurement
- Support webinar, event, and content promotion execution to drive registrations and lead capture
- Utilizing and maximizing HubSpot data for lead generation and prospect nurturing. Creating workflows and email automations to support sales activities.
Manage H&H’s Trade Show and Conference Presence
- Prepare an annual list of all potential trade shows and conferences that have potential value for H&H’s attendance
- Develop cost analysis, timing, and scheduling for events to identify the final list for the year
- Collaborate with Director of Growth and CEO to develop speaking abstracts for industry events
- Manage speaking abstract submission, according to event deadlines
- Complete event registration and trade show booth organization
- Manage attendance of the event, including booth assets, travel details
- Manage all sponsorship opportunities for the event
- Manage pre-event attendee engagement as well as post-event attendee follow-up to drive leads
- Identify other speaking opportunities, such as podcasts or webinars
Manage and Co-Produce H&H’s Podcast – We Are, Marketing Happy
- Develop podcast content and promotion strategy
- Coordinate schedule and publishing with podcast production vendor
- Develop show prep and show notes for each episode
- Occasional Guest Management, including identifying, contacting, and managing guest appearances
Manage H&H’s Annual Swag Plan
- Develop and maintain the annual swag plan and budget
- Research and ideate new swag ideas aligned to brand standards and preferences
- Source vendors, request quotes, and manage ordering to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery
- Oversee inventory levels, track usage, and plan reorders
- Manage fulfillment logistics, including packaging, shipping, and distribution for clients and employees
- Track spend against budget and identify opportunities for cost savings or consolidation
Budgeting and Reporting
- Create and share monthly report on marketing performance, including leads driven and program ROI
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in marketing – preferably healthcare client-side or healthcare agency experience is a plus
- 3+ years’ experience in content development – social and long form content preferred
- Ability to multi-task and self-manage
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Although this position is primarily remote, the selected applicant must live in the greater St. Louis, MO area.
