Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Specialist for our Global Commercial Payments department in Frankfurt am Main. The role involves telephone customer service, sales, and collaboration within the team and across departments.
What You Will Do
Provide telephone customer service, apply the “Challenger or Consultative Selling” model, and actively sell the Amex product portfolio to existing customers.

Requirements
- Commercial education and/or study
- Experience in customer service and/or sales (at least 1-3 years)
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Sales talent, negotiation skills
- Ability to identify innovative uses of Amex products for customers and convince them of the benefits
- Ability to identify opportunities and handle them along the entire sales process
- Outstanding service understanding and ability to speak with customers from various industries and different hierarchical levels on an equal footing
- Good understanding of economic concepts
- High level of self-motivation
- Excellent interpersonal skills for verbal and written communication
- Empathy and tolerance for critical questioning by customers
- Ability to work organized and systematically
- Learning ability and flexibility
- Fluent German and English skills
