Role Overview

As a Data Scientist in the Machine Learning and Data Science Team, you will help HexDigital accelerate its digital transformation by designing winning data products and developing new big data capabilities.

Designing winning data products, developing new big data capabilities, working with raw data, and extracting actionable insights.

Requirements

• Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or a related quantitative field
• Expert knowledge of machine learning and statistical modeling methods
• Ability to work with raw data, knowledge of preprocessing procedures, and experience in feature engineering
• Exceptional programming skills in Python and Scala
• Experience with distributed computing environments and cloud computing platforms
• Strong knowledge of databases and related languages/tools
• Ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
• Effective communication skills and ability to explain complex data products in simple terms
• Strong relationship building and collaborative skills
