Role Overview
The Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in generating revenue by working alongside the Outside Sales Team to process and manage customer purchase and rental opportunities. Works with Branch staff to ensure adequate product levels are available for customer purchase. Develops business across multiple sales channels. Identifies customer needs through consultation and creates sales quotes/orders to meet customer requirements. Maintains customer relationships through communication, support, and high-level customer service.
What You Will Do
Process and maintain customer orders, as well as vendor purchase orders. Maintain a strong customer relationship after the sale through follow up meetings or phone calls. Develop clear communication channels for new and existing customers. Identify customer product needs and create sales quotes/orders. Partner with the Regional Director of Sales and Account Rep Teams regarding customer account activity, invoicing requirements, and customer feedback on products and services.

Requirements
- Associate degree with a concentration in Business Management preferred.
- Two or more years’ experience in an oilfield supply, customer service or a sales support position, required
- Pipe, valve, and fitting experience a plus, but not required.
- Self-starting personality.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Business Central or other customer relationship management (CRM) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Strong time management, organization, and ability to multitask.

- Knowledge of general safety skills.
- Ability to travel (10% or less).
- Ability to stand, sit, stoop, reach with arms, kneel and push/pull/lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk long distances in rough terrain.
- Stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing ramps or stairs.
- Ability to wear PPE.
- Reaching overhead, at or below shoulder level.
- Keyboarding.
- Driving (and ability to maintain valid driver’s license and pass MVR in accordance with insurance requirements)
- Sitting for long periods of time.
- Standing for extended periods of time.
