Financial Analyst

Role Overview

As a Financial Analyst at MSIG Specialty Marine, you’ll be responsible for processing financial transactions accurately and on time, reviewing and validating automated entries, and ensuring everything is correct, complete, and up to date. You’ll work closely with brokers, teams like Underwriting, Claims, and Accounting, and support and improve automated financial processes.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing financial transactions, reviewing and validating automated entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness, analyzing and solving discrepancies, and identifying patterns and areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Background in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Experience in a finance or accounting role
• Around 2+ years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
• Strong attention to detail
• Confidence working with systems, data, and automation
• Proactive, problem-solving approach
