Role Overview
The Associate Director, FP&A is a financial leader responsible for managing the budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial management of clinical trials and departmental operations. This role partners with Clinical Development Operations, internal business stakeholders, CROs, and other vendors to develop and monitor clinical study budgets and forecasts, deliver management reporting and financial analysis and support procurement and contract negotiations.
What You Will Do
Prepares and maintains budgets and forecasts for assigned clinical studies, monitors financial performance against plan, and prepares key financial management reports used by various levels of management.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a Finance or Business discipline
- A minimum of 10 years of previous financial planning or accounting experience
- Expertise in clinical study and clinical site cost budgeting and forecasting
- Previous corporate budgeting and planning experience
- Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills
- A thorough understanding of principles of corporate finance
- Ability to review and understand significant agreements
- Ability to demonstrate a high attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and manage various and/or competing deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent computer and analytical skills, including strong Excel and modeling skills
