Role Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in managing federal grants and funds that support ODJFS programs. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys complex financial work, wants meaningful responsibility, and is motivated by challenges that have a direct impact on public services across Ohio.
What You Will Do
Job duties include: Complete daily cash draws for federal grants, Reconcile grant and fund revenue and expenditure data, Analyze cash flows to ensure federal grant funding is utilized according to the period of availability, and Prepare federal financial reports, GAAP schedules, and the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA).

Requirements
- 42 months experience or 42 months training in accounting &/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software
- Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field
- Completion of graduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field
- 12 months experience as Financial Analyst, 66562
- Equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above
