Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Officer to support Planate’s strategic growth by leading opportunity shaping, capture planning, competitive analysis, and customer engagement for the CONUS US Federal and DoD market.
What You Will Do
Lead and manage the full capture lifecycle from opportunity identification through contract award, develop and execute capture plans, identify customer needs, and build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders and decision makers.

You will serve as the primary support to the Head of Global Business Development and Capture, ensuring disciplined, repeatable capture processes across the organization. You will also support business development strategy, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a technical-related field
- MBA or PMP (preferred)
- Knowledge of U.S. Government contracting, contract types/vehicles, and procurement processes
- Experience or training in business development, capture planning, and proposal development is preferred
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and industry trends
