Senior Business Analyst / Data Analyst (Security Master)

Role Overview

The Senior Business Analyst / Data Analyst will own the business logic, data quality, and product backlog for the enterprise Security Master, managing a critical data engine that ingests reference data from multiple financial vendors. The role requires a deep understanding of Security Reference Data structures, corporate actions, and product symbology.

What You Will Do

The Senior Business Analyst / Data Analyst will define and document business requirements, data mapping rules, and functional specifications for the Security Master platform, analyze and normalize complex financial reference data sets, establish golden copy rules, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for security master enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or IT related
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Product Owner within Wealth Management, Asset Management, or Capital Markets
• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Security Reference Data structures, corporate actions, and product symbology (ISIN, CUSIP, SEDOL, TICKER)
• Proficient in SQL, Python for data analysis, profiling, and querying complex databases, plus advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting
